Travel Tip: Repack Your Toiletry Bag As Soon As You Return Home From A Trip
As tempting as it can be to toss it in your bathroom cabinet and forget about it, you'll regret it when you pull it out the night before a trip to discover that you're pretty much out of everything.
As soon as I get home from travel, I empty mine out and assess what I've used. Do I need more shampoo or conditioner? Since I usually use contact solution bottles for travel that are 2oz, I frequently go through the majority of a bottle on one trip. If there's anything remaining, I'll use it up at home and add a new bottle to my bag so I don't run out the next time I head out somewhere.
I restock face wipes, eye drops, make sure I have enough deodorant and toothpaste, and package it all up so it's ready to go for next time. Then, when I'm packing, all I have to do is throw the bag in, knowing it's ready to go.
