A Touch of Wanderlust was born around the same time as my son. Originally a creative outlet, it morphed into a way to document our family travels and from there, a site to inspire families to explore the world despite the hassles and tremendous amount of logistics and gear that comes with traveling with children.
It's a spot for travel guides filled with recommendations of the places we've loved on our world wanderings, tried-and-true travel tips, packing ideas, and (coming soon) profiles of wandering mamas and how they travel with their children.
Designed as both a practical resource and a spot of inspiration, I hope you find it to be both.
Jennifer Joseph is a wanderer, explorer, adventurer, writer, mother, and wife. She was also anointed the "family cruise director" several years back due to a penchant for constantly having plans and ideas for where to go and what to do.
An initial trip abroad to Paris at 15 sparked a love of exploring that led to a year abroad in a tiny town near Zurich, Switzerland her final year of high school and she's been traveling and exploring ever since.
She has worked in fashion, technology, foreign relations and government consulting in places such as San Francisco and Washington, DC (with a few others in between) and now lives, writes, and works near San Francisco when she, her husband, and toddler son aren't out exploring the world.
